Much of this symbolism arises from the fact that daffodils emerge each spring to light up barren landscapes with their cheerful yellow, orange, and white flowers. The bulb, leaf, and flower are used to make medicine. Despite serious safety concerns, people take daffodil for whooping cough, colds, and asthma. They also take it to cause vomiting.

Not... exactly. There was a woman there, she was the one controllin' the undead, and the one that was doin' everythin' to the tree and town. She definitely had an influence on the tree.

She was - she was tryin' to revive herself. So I don't think she was related to Scawwy's cult or anythin'. Less lofty ambitions than revivin' a god. But... she used a lot of familiar faces against us. Friends from here, and from home. All undead puppets.
