[ he sits up properly, head tilting back to look at the unfamiliar sky above the pyre. honestly, he's never been much of a praying man on the daily. but this place sure is making him into one - even at the risk of interruption from whatever powers that riverdale be. ]
Might be. [ wryly ] We got a lot of extra wood in the theater, though, from the broken benches - the ones that were already busted up before all this.
I was thinkin' of breakin' some of 'em down and maybe makin' markers for the three of 'em. Stone'll be harder to come by, at least anythin' we could actually work with. But I got an axe. Might as well do somethin'.

If nothin' else, I'm gonna keep callin' on the gods of Orsterra. There's thirteen of 'em - somebody's gotta hear me and Rondo eventually if we keep sendin' a prayer their way every time we need the guidance.

Think it'd be nice to just... do somethin'. Even if we can't tend to 'em, we can at least send 'em on their way, say goodbye somehow.

He just nods in agreement, though. With all of this, pretty much. He is very fantasy Catholic, so the notion of sending the dead on their way in any way possible and being able to visit a grave in the aftermath is very familiar to him, which is comforting in its own way.]
I believe it might give those left behind even the smallest bit of peace, too. ...If not peace, at least something to focus on.

I can get the pieces together tonight, probably. After that... it's down to findin' people to help spruce 'em up, and anybody that might want to do somethin' for rites, or words, or... whatever else we can do.
