[ only so many places to go, in their rundown village, and they're all basically on top of each other. alfyn at least does not literally run into asa, instead pulling up short as he comes around the corner of the cabin, coming from the stream, blessedly paying at least some sort of attention to where he's going.

[ ambushes her (helpful) with daan and whoever else, probably, to get her treated with bandages, burn ointment, and salve for pain management once everything is said and done. however much she will let them help after all that. ]

Asa..? You gonna need anythin'? I can get it for you, if you do.

[ alfyn is heading into the side rooms out of curiosity, because - well, investigate the areas that you're saddled with, and all that. when he sees asa, he raises his hand up in greeting -

and then, they get slam dunked by memshare time. he looks less than thrilled about this as it starts to happen, the scabbed cut across his own left eye pinching as his expression tightens. NOT AGAIN... ]

[how is it only week 2

asa's watching the pyre from a distance, her expression blank. she will tilt her head in alfyn's direction to acknowledge him, but she doesn't really say anything.]

that's alfyn, now, after the miserable execution. at least they didn't lose gale right along with caelus, but he's thrown himself into busy work that involves apparently looting the academy of its furniture. he's carting a chair across the village from the teleportree at the moment like it's no big deal. ]

[ considering he helped vin and ashlyn get asa to the swamp, alfyn is also just. at the swamp. he's got a stack of blankets and is waiting diligently for asa to be freed from its clutches, and will be more than happy to help pull her out once it releases her from the terrible drowning experience.

and he'll also swaddle her in a blanket immediately after. ]
