Everyone's rather reliant on magical healing, aren't they?

You'd know it then, if you've seen war. It's why morale is important to keep up and to make sure tensions stay... at a reasonable level.

Only sometimes, for apothecaries. We focus on the physical that we can do, with our concoctions and mendin' skills, while clerics focus on magical healing. Be nice to have some ice, though, for situations where we ain't got access to it elsewhere.

... yeah. Not up close in the thick of it, but Orsterra's seen a lot of 'em. Lost a lot of people I've known to it and plagues. [ haha. there's no mirth right now, but. ] I'm gonna do my best to keep spirits up. The heart, the soul, the mind... if those give up the ghost, then the body's not long after.

Sure you can, Mr. Daan. I'm gonna talk to Pesti tomorrow to see if I can get to the garden again - might use some of that extra wood to make an herbal garden of our own so we don't gotta keep takin' their stuff.

Speaking of that. They spared me a little bit of lavender. I handed it over to Ms. Gainsborough, given she seems to like flowers and I think probably knows how to take care of them...

I'm hoping it'll grow enough that we'll be able to make some good use out of that. Lavender's pretty good for relaxing...

That makes sense. I think I'm gonna see if we can't maybe get a garden or somethin' goin' so we can start our own supply of herbs, maybe some food, with Aerith helpin' out. Things to keep us busy and things to use both.

Nobody wants to be here for long, but as long as we are... might as well do somethin'.

We've got a lot of open ground. If Pestilence likes you enough, maybe they'll even permit you access to a portion of theirs, but no promises.

I think that sentiment is essentially our driving force right now. No sense in wallowing around, seeing if rituals or starvation takes us first. We'll try to survive.
