Pretty quiet out there, so a swim's a good way to entertain yourself. Even if Clearbrook's about as landlocked in the Riverlands as you can be, I've still been to places that're on the coast before.

Really can be. [ agrees instantly ] Especially when they rub it in your face, huh.

It's nicer to look at, too. [ rolling waves in the golden hour are a lot nicer than a spooky stream in a haunted village. ]

We should stock up and bring as much back as we can. But if it doesn't get used it'll still go bad, eventually...

[ homie same. we have some asparagus and a head of cauliflower sisi's mom instacarted us that i have to use still before they grow legs. ]

Mmm, yeah. Gotta eat 'em before they get too brown. Could always sun-dry some of 'em. I'd say picklin' is an option, just, y'know, that kinda needs a brine and jars.

Smart. Maybe someone could ask an overseer for those...?

[ i'm tempted to plant onions and potatoes when they start Growing. ]

I'm used to dryin' herbs, so I can probably dry veggies. Just need somethin' smaller than my axe to cut 'em up, but maybe these houses have knives..? [ if we can cook in them ] Overseers should be able to get simple things like that.

... I wonder if it's a good idea to be putting more knives around the village, though.
