Marigolds were often linked to the powerful strength of the sun and represent power, strength, and light that lives inside of a person. Mmm, yeah. Gotta eat 'em before they get too brown. Could always sun-dry some of 'em. I'd say picklin' is an option, just, y'know, that kinda needs a brine and jars.

I'm used to dryin' herbs, so I can probably dry veggies. Just need somethin' smaller than my axe to cut 'em up, but maybe these houses have knives..? [ if we can cook in them ] Overseers should be able to get simple things like that.
