[ yuffie is out running around all the locations fastly with her giant shuriken in her hand. she means business! and is obviously looking around for someone ]

[ welp, there she goes.

alfyn pauses in his steps as he wanders the village like it'll have answers, axe in hand - but he goes from the tension of being ready to defend himself, or someone else, and instead snaps the weapon into the loop on the back of his belt. ]

[ she doesn't quite startle, but it's clear he caught her offguard ]

[ looks over her should briefly, and her eyes are red wowowow ]

[ oh NOOOO this babygirl face look at herrrr. he moves to close the distance quickly, hands held out about waist-high to show he means no harm despite the fast steps. ]

Worst kind of thing, right? You don't - have to tell me more than that, either. [ he clearly hates that she understands it. not because she's young - because plenty of people in orsterra are young, and have had to face hardship and loss - but because she's just... good. she seems so good. ]

This other apothecary came across him, first, and asked him some questions before deciding he didn't want to treat the guy. Figured out he was a liar faster than I ever could have.

Didn't know until after I'd nursed him back to health that everything he said was a lie, and he nearly killed a kid.

... we got lost in the fog. All apart, at first, 'til me and Tot found each other and then saw Geto and Pickles. In a big castletown with white stone walls. But the streets were empty and the people... they were scared, hidin'. Like I've seen folks be durin' wartime and plagues in Orsterra.
