If you wish to say "I will always love you," send an orchid. Express your sympathy with a pink, purple or white orchid plant. Purple orchids are often seen as symbols of royalty and wealth. They can also be used to express admiration, respect, or dignity. Dried dendrobium is believed to possess medicinal properties that can help treat cancer, strengthen the immune system, and improve eyesight. It is said to be effective in curing sore throat, digestive problems, diarrhea, and gum disease.

Got it. [ he'll try it as he talks. ] ... maybe. I heard you, I didn't see you, but maybe one of the others... We got split up before things got even weirder. Even worse.
no subject
That's troublesome.
And what's this I keep hearing about a tree...? Or "Delilah"?
no subject
It was a castletown, kinda like any I'd see back in Orsterra, and there was this tree in the center of the whole dreary place, ain't seen one so big before. It was dead, too, like the guards patrollin', but had this... rot. This energy and rot.
Like it was rottin' the place inside to out.
And Delilah Briarwood... she was the one that did all this to us, and to the folks that lived in that place. To that tree.

[ My medical diagnosis is what the fuck. ]
Did she seem like one of our responsible cultists...?
[ No this is a player-run this isn't relevant worth shit. ]
I'll have to assume you somehow landed there like how we arrive at the island -- at least I, personally, don't know of any castletowns we could access.

I don't think so... she seemed more out for her own gains, 'stead of summonin' a god. She was tryin' to revive herself, not a deity.
[ he fiddles with the cube instead of scrubbing his face. ]
You might be right, though. 'cause we were wanderin' in the fog, so long I started losin' track of time, and then - bam. The castletown.

It's a bit late right now to be worrying about it though. Please. Have some fruit and just rest.
Is there anything else I can get you in the meantime? I'll get you water too.
no subject
[ he will eat fruit, because at this point he knows that it's drugged technically. they don't have medicines so this will have to do. ]
Water'll be good. Nobody else's gone missin' or anythin' right..?
no subject
Not that I'm aware of, but we have expanded our areas quite a bit...
...But given it's you and me here, if anybody else comes back injured, I'm sure there'll be hollering soon enough.
[ The weight of doctoring. Here, have a water. ]

Really gonna have a reason to do a clinic, now, huh. Better start teachin' some people things, if this kinda stuff is gonna happen to one of us...
[ not right now, obviously, but still ]

[ Oh yeah and returns him his yarrow jar. ]
Maybe teaching people how to make these slaves will be good, too. Pretty lacking in any disinfectants and all that...
no subject
[ frowns down at the cube as he fights it and its beige squares, but he'll take the jar back and carefully put it into his satchel again. ]
It won't be too hard to teach, at least. We'd just have to get more mortars and pestles, some more ways of storin' everythin'... maybe if we find where the bees on the island are comin' from, we can get some honey to add to it to make it easier.
no subject
There's bees...?
[ He has avoided the bees, but that's great to know... maybe... ]
Maybe we could just... borrow the jars in these houses, I guess. If nobody else is using them anyway. There's that covered -- probably will have to ask about a mortar and pestle situation.
...
At least we have the wherewithal to be pretty prepared in advance.
