[ her stance doesn't surprise him, but it does mean that he respects her space. he'll stay on one end of the seat and allow her the other, staring into the burning blue of the fire. both hands grip the axe, now, but it's so that he can rest his chin on it rather than present a threat.

Yeah, he was with us... I went to go visit Daan for the evening and a bunch of other people ended up getting stuck there too.

We do. Surely among the 39 of us... we can put our heads together and make a real detective's time of it... we've already been able to go through a few places, so. There's a start.

... yeah. Turns out we're both from Orsterra, but we've never met one another. It's the flame that protects Orsterra, brought from the Heavens by the Flamebringer Aelfric. The Order of the Sacred Flame is our church, though plenty of us pray to Aelfric's brother and sister gods - like me, I pray to Dohter the Charitable, patron of apothecaries.
